| Diretora de teatro, tradutora e pesquisadora, Rafaella Uhiara é bacharel em Teatro com habilitação em Direção Teatral (USP, 2007), mestre e doutora em Estudos Teatrais (Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, 2018 e 2011). Filiada ao laboratório de pesquisa francês THALIM (Théorie et Histoire des Arts et des Littératures de la Modernité), participou do grupo internacional de pesquisa Theater Sound / Le son du Théâtre, dirigido por Marie-Madeleine Mervant-Roux (CNRS, França) e Jean-Marc Larrue (Université de Montréal, Canadá). Lecionou no Departamento de Arts du Spectacle da Université Rennes 2. Tem publicações no Brasil, Bélgica, França e Reino Unido. Foi assistente de edição da Revista Sala Preta da USP (Qualis A1, Web of Science). | Theater director, translator and researcher, Rafaella Uhiara holds a bachelor's degree in Theatre with a major in Theatre Directing (USP, 2007), a master's and a PhD in Theatre Studies (Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, 2018 and 2011). She has published in Brazil, Belgium, France, and the UK. | Pesquisa e Arte Projeto atual de pesquisa: Administradora do projeto de Glossário International do Som do Teatro (LabEx Transfers, França), realizou diversos estudos sobre esse léxico, tendo redigido dois artigos sobre a noção de “sonoplastia”, termo intraduzível em francês, e redige atualmente, junto com Noémie Fargier, o verbete “Bruit” para o mesmo projeto. Atualmente, Rafaella Uhiara se interessa pelos arquivos sonoros de teatro e prepara um projeto de pesquisa nessa área junto ao CDT (Centro de Documentação Teatral) da USP. No campo da prática artística, dirige criações em diversas linguagens (teatro, circo, realidade virtual) e desenvolve experimentações artísticas a partir da percepção sonora e espacial de deficientes auditivos e deficientes visuais. |
Research and Art Current research project: Administrator of the International Glossary of Theatre Sound (LabEx Transfers, France), she has developed several studies on this lexicon, having written two articles on the notion of "sonoplastia", a portuguese term untranslatable in French, and is currently writing, with Noémie Fargier, the entry "Bruit" for the same project. Currently, Rafaella Uhiara is interested in Theater Sound Archives and is preparing a research project in this area for the CDT (Center for Theatrical Documentation) at the University of São Paulo. In the field of Artistic Practice, she directs creations in several languages (theater, circus, virtual reality) and develops artistic experimentations based on the perception of sound and space of hearing and visually impaired people. |
